Parking Njegoševa is one of only two campervan-friendly overnight spots in Kotor — the UNESCO-listed medieval walled city at the southeastern end of Europe's southernmost fjord. The large flat gravel lot is manned 24 hours, has no height or length restrictions, and is just 10 minutes' walk from the old town gate.
Kotor is one of the most dramatic settings in the Mediterranean: a perfectly preserved 9th-century walled city backed by mountains that plunge straight into the crystal-blue bay. Climb the 1,355 steps of the city walls for a view over the entire Bay of Kotor — one of the most photographed scenes in Europe.
The bay itself is 28 km long and surrounded by the Orjen and Lovćen mountain ranges. From here you can easily day-trip to Perast, the tiny baroque island churches of Our Lady of the Rocks, and the national park of Lovćen with its cable car and panoramic plateau at 1,657 metres.
