Camping Viljamovka sits on the shores of Lake Zaovine in Tara National Park — one of Serbia's most beautiful and least-known national parks. The Tara massif, known as the "lungs of Serbia", is a dense pine forest stretching 220 km² with dramatic gorges carved by the Drina River.
The campsite is surrounded by ancient forest, with direct access to the lakeshore for swimming and fishing. Tara's 290+ km of marked hiking trails begin right outside — including the famous Banjska Stena viewpoint over the Drina Canyon, the third deepest canyon in the world.
Only 4 hours from Belgrade and 3 from Sarajevo, this is the perfect first stop on a Balkan road trip — remote enough to feel like a real escape, close enough to be practical.
